Great experience!
Most staff are mean and very unhappy, worst of all lifelabs that I've gone to.
Lengthy waits coupled with rather unfriendly staff.
Staff is super transphobic there. They knew what they were doing and wait times were not bad however the staff used wrong name when calling me up and then argued with me.
Great staff. Friendly & efficient. Sometimes a bit of a wait when busy but that is to be expected. Have not tried setting an appointment time but notice a lot of people who do & of course they will be taken before those first come, first served, if it is their appointed time.

Went this morning at 7:30. Wait was only 10 and that's because 2 people ahead of ne had appointments. Ana did my work. She was very professional and friendly.
I was very unhappy with the service I received at LifeLabs. The nurse at the front desk was talking extremely loudly despite the fact the room was silent. You could hear her tell patients about the procedures they were receiving including one girl who "NEEDS TO COLLECT HER STOOL AND HAS TO DEFECATE IN A CUP". All of the patients in the waiting room seemed uncomfortable and unhappy. She also rudely asked whether my Indian doctor was male or female. The way she phrased it came across as not only abrupt, but also very racist. Overall, I had a poor experience at LifeLabs. I would suggest that the nurses take a "refresher" course on professionalism and confidentiality.
I HAVE BEEN RECEIVING TREATMENT AT THIS FACILITY FOR YEARS. THE PERSONNEL ARE WONDERFUL. THEY BEND OVER BACKWARDS TO HELP. THEY ARE ONE OF THE BUSIEST PLACES I'VE ATTENDED. IF YOU HAVE HAD A BAD EXPERIENCE, IT'S A SHAME. I BOOK ONLINE AND MY APPOINTMENT HAS ALWAYS BEEN READY. I LOVE THE STAFF.
No a good service, the front desk lady was rude and impatient.
When well i got there with my doctors papers for blood work. The lady at the desk was very nice and took my info the asked me to wait in the waiting area. Lots of people there but they where very fast only took about 10 or 15 mins to get to me. Got called back she had the needle in me and blood flowing in seconds could hardly feel the needle go in my arm. Was done the blood takimg process in less than 3 min and walked out. Love it when your in and out fast like that
Nurse was horrible moving the needle around in my arm was kinda rude as well
Best one, highly recommended, I always went early in a morning and the waiting time was not bad at all 10- 15 min. The nurses are very nice, friendly and definitely they know what they are doing.
I am writing specifically about the lady named Alison at the LifeLabs at 65 University Ave in Waterloo, ON. She was SO wonderful. She went above and beyond what I could have asked for to make sure I got my tests taken care of. They are having issues with their computers and fax machines right now so it was slower than normal and things were not being received when they should have. Alison figured out alternative ways to get my information for me :) Thank you so much Alison for your help!
Booked an appointment online for blood work. Was early and admitted right away, waited a bit for the nurse so was great. Would blood test again!
We went today morning and we are in queue. But the staff are very stubborn and never called us to give a test. The patients who came after us got their chance. We even paid money for the test as we do not have a health card. When asked when we will get a chance they answered very rude and we have to come back after taking back our refund. Our tests are not done even after a 2 hour waiting at the front desk.I do not suggest this location at all.
If you schedule a time in the afternoon, appointment time can sometimes be irrelevant. It's common to wait 40-60 minutes past your appointment time until they're ready to take you. Seems to defeat the purpose of scheduling an appointment.
Not a good service. Despite having appointment, they made us wait for half an hour. When i told them we had an appointment, she didnt even apolozise and was extremly rude.
This place is pathetic. After telling the reception that I faxed my requisition to the fax number on their website, I was told that they don't have it. When I asked where that fax number lead to the lady told me that it isn't her responsibility where it goes to and for me to step aside so she can help the people that walked in after me. If she thinks that it isn't her responsibility where my personal information goes because of the number that they have posted on their site she is crazy. Now my health card number and address and such is out in limbo and she wouldn't take the time to tell me anything and kept actually waving her hand for me to move out of the way because she was done with me. This company does not care about your personal information and is another huge accident waiting to happen.
Most efficient life labs in Waterloo region.
This location should've been open Saturdays. However, when I went in Saturday February 17 2018 the lab was closed. I waited for half an hour with a number of other patients. Finally after calling their 800 number I was told that the branch closes on Saturday on long weekend. Their was no note on the door and this wasn't posted on Google maps.
Came here after 4PM on a Thursday because the lab at UWaterloo was closed at 4. Waiting room was about as clean as it should be at the end of a day. Behind the receptionist desk was messy and disorganized. What disturbed me the most was the personal hygiene of one of the male staff members. I definitely wouldn't want him taking my blood!! Wait was about an hour.
Fast and friendly. Every possible lab service is here.
Good service
The technicians are great.....always in and out quickly.
The place is very clean, the staff are very helpful, thank you all
I have always had great experiences here. They are very quick and courteous when I come in and being diabetic that's often. Thank-you.
This is a great location to go to in the early morning. Low wait times. Staff was friendly and able to draw my blood fast and get it the first time because I have small and hard vanes to find. I used to go to the greenbrook location but this will be my location to go to as I need to get blood work done 4 times a year. I like how they are open at 7 am as well, where as some other locations are 8am and i like to go before work.
I was there this morning. Ana did my blood work..she was very professional and good.
Is this where babies come from
The receptionist was rude and impatient. Although I had scheduled an appointment, I waited over 45 mins. The woman who took my blood was lovely, fast and polite. It has been five weeks since I was at my appointment and my doctor has not yet received my results. I had to call and ask them to forward them to my doctor (as noted on the requisition). They were not polite about it.
My first time getting a blood test in Waterloo. The front desk lady was okay. Not very friendly but still ok. It wasn't busy when I got there but I waited a bit long in the cubical. At first, they failed to get my blood from my left hand. Then, another person came and got the blood from my other hand. I never had any difficulty of taking blood before so it was kind of weird to me. Overall good experience.
Done a blood test there. Staff r swift and professional. Maybe I’m just lucky. The queue was very short in the morning. Not sure about other services tho since I can only speak for myself.
Everyone at Lifelabs University and Weber Sts. is very friendly. They are very efficient and friendly and that is hard to be, when they are so busy.Hats off to each one of them.Carol Anne
Average.
Wait times are long and staff seem pretty disorganized. It may or may not be their fault, but it's still frustrating to have to wait for an hour to get blood work done
Wait times are way too long. Staff does not care.
I come to this location every time I need my blood drawn. I am always anxious of the needle, but their staff are always professional and well experienced and I almost never feel the needle. I recommend this location over all the other locations because it is not as busy as all the other labs. I recommend this location.
I went there today at 7:30am on Saturday and it was not even open. The sign on the door says it should be open today from 7am to 12pm... and there was no reason why it was closed. My friend says they probably were all hung over after Oktoberfesting last night. Not cool, if true.
I loved this place, since my vein is hard to take it takes at least 3 to 4 tries to get my blood, but this one person named Keyuri got it on the first try so if you are going here always ask for Keyuri she is the BEST!
Some are rude and annoying.
Didn’t give any results to me and asked me to pay for it. Awful experience.
Excellent service - friendly staff.
